>>13034165I think I get what you mean, she's technically good, dar I say great. but having "soul" means putting a raw emotion into your work, for Ina that passion is not present in each and every work, if you do much of something you like and become "good" at it it eventually develops into something formulaic, therefore lacking the initial passion of trying to get better at something.
Everything in life is about challenging yourself, testing and learning something new, once you dominate a field or you become very good at it, it becomes a natural state of being therefore it has no passion behind, no challenge. Even Ina has admitted this and she's very self-concious about it.
Once you do your reps what lies at the end of them it's just a formula to do what you do in less time and more proficient at it. But don't get me wrong, even when we often say that the journey is what matter there is certain beauty in a polished skill, and it's important because it serves as example of what others can reach with enough training, she's like a mountain to climb, her skill may appear to some unattainable yet she also feels the same way about others. Individuals with polished skill inspire us.
What I think Ina lacks is perhaps new inspiration, that means new experiences, maybe outside since art is but a reflection of how an artist see their world, she is indeed talented but her skill and art will reflect her inner world.
