When you hit 310 posts, the thread stops bumping and starts going to the bottom of the catalog.
Usually, the lower in the catalog you are, the less you actually move. Since most threads at the bottom are already very low activity anyways, there isn't much movement.
But imagine you really, REALLY hate a thread, and want to get rid of it fast.
If you want to do that, you can go to every single thread under it, about one hundred or so, and post in every single one of them, one every minute, to artificially cycle the catalog out and bump them all above the thread you hate.
When you get the thread you hate to the very bottom, you then post new threads into the catalog until the thread you hate gets deleted.
That man has been doing that every other day or so for fucking MONTHS.
