If they learn that the rumors aren't true, though, that's one less person that might've been a casualty of it, AND they also now are a person to go back to hlg and this time be capable of explaining why the antiposters is wrong. Often providing more accurate info for search terms for onlookers to find the truth more easily. And then once the bait stops working people slowly stop the replies.
Rushia is the kind whose background is pretty squeaky clean for what Fandead care about. There are some very good reasons to suspect that if it was found out that she's apparently a sociopath who can play an act with perfect precision and never falter cor 2 years straight and has been manipulating and leading us all on, her career would be over. And yet despite just how paranoid many Fandead both here and on 5ch and on twitter are, none of the pathetic attempts at rumors have stuck AND that over time it's made everybody feel both a lot more secure a desire through those debunkings picked up the ability to recognize why shit is fake more easily.
