They want money but don't want to work, and will try to "act cute" to get you to take care of them instead. Some of those are stupid and don't lock down a man before they become a hag, evolving into the insufferable "hit the wall" type you describe, but there are still many many good ones. The ones I refer to are the ones who don't play games with you, understand that them not knowing how to cook is pathetic, not cute, and that they need to know how to take care of themselves as a functioning adult. The myth that women mature faster than men is a lie, they mature slower.
