A guy lived alone in an apartment with a terrarium of grass, a caged rabbit and a turtle. He was notified that he was being moved to a smaller place with no space for the pets and plants, which were the last of their kind anywhere. After petting all three, he incinerated the grass, wrung the rabbit's neck and gassed the turtle, then killed himself. The apartment was then turned over to a family of four.
