Mori "promises" are always well-intentioned, but the girl is a workaholic scatterbrain, and even if she DOES reach out, "way with words"ism can only go so far, so they'd really need to talk it out, and possibly air a lot of behind the scene tension.
All that being said, I'd love TakaMori to come back as a very powerful friendship, and not revert back to the awkward "Tsun/Dere" act they tried before. They're both accomplished talents, and Mori is a lot more fun and engaged when she's bullied, so they'd be better off working on that dynamic moving forward.
But if you really were tempted to Anti Mori, keep in mind she's basically got the sensibilities of a Shonen Protagonist, in that she's dense as a brick at times, yet legitimately believes in "the power of friendship", so any perceived slight was never done out of malevolence, and most likely just dopiness on her part.
