Picturesque Lower Austrian town in the middle of June. As scorching heat was pouring down from the sky, young and amazingly beautiful miss Kiara was taking a leisurely stroll. Being a heir her fathers' poultry farming and dining empire, she did behave in a true lady-like fashion. She was brimming with elegance and highness. The townsfolk were always very fond of the young lady as her father, respected and well-mannered businessman always looked after the local community. Always providing tasty food for occasional festivities. Kiara loved how the strolls always gave her peace of mind, reminding her of care-free time when she was a little chick. Walking hand in hand with her beloved mother, meeting the townsfolk, shopping and eating pastries in her favourite cafeteria.
>Well well well, if it isn't our beloved poultry empress, haha!
>Mr. Schnitzelwurst! How nice to see you! Are you well?
Young miss Kiara greeted her old aquientice the owner of mentioned cafeteria.
>Here, strawberries, two scoops, on the house!
>Oh, mister! You really shouldn't have.
>I most certainly should! It's like an oven outside today! Be careful not to get a heat stroke!
>Thank you for always looking after me! You too take care! Bye!
One would imagine lady Kiara had absolutely no worries at all. Living the life free of any burdens. But that was about to change. As it usually happens within the aristocracy, Kiara already had her engagement and marriage arranged. Her father decided to merge his vast enterprise with another like-wise powerful company from Texas and the young master Moriah, son of the CEO of said company, would make a perfect husband for the young lady.
The two are set to meet for the very first time in a month from now. Young lady Kiara is lost to the idea. Poor thing has no clue what to think or feel about it. She always knew such day would come and she was always obidient towards her father, but the idea of marrying a stranger was downright frightening to her. She was against it, she hated it, it was repulsive for her to even think about, yet she couldn't even imagining standing up for herself. Pure and unspoiled heart of the young lady Kiara always dreamt of true love, but as it seems, it wasn't meant to be.
>Time to go home now, enjoy what little time I've got left...
Young lady thought to herself, got off the bench and started walking towards her family mansion. The icecream provided by a friendly cafeteria owner proved very soothing. Not only reducing the heat fatigue but also lifting her spirit ever so slightly. Humming and skipping, Kiara continued her walk. Suddenly, she saw a road sign. It read "Construction works ahead". The young lady took notice and quickly changed to the opposite sidewalk. The bird chirping gave way to the sound of heavy machines, power tools and words she was unfamiliar with.
>Eastern Europeans, huh?
Kiara never thought much of foreign workers who toiled in Austria. "Work horses of the European Union" as her father usually described them. She wasn't exactly prejudiced against them, but she has never interacted with one in any way. She thought to herself that she might as well take a look at them while she's there. Adult males, most of them in their thirties and fourties, they sure like their moustaches. And then, in a moment that would define her story, she saw him. Tall and handsome young man, muscular and wide-framed, his skin tanned to a light brown. Stylized beard and dark hair tied up in a messy bun. Bearly any fat on his chiseled body. Powerful veins poking through his forearms while firmly holding a sledgehammer. His green eyes, ever so focused on the task at hand. Kiara did not even realize, that for a moment, she was standing there, just gazing shamelessly at the young worker. In a miraculous turn of fate, not knowing that he was being observed, he turned around to see her. As she was licking her icecream, the young Slavic man sent her the most devilish smile he could muster.
For the first time in her life, the young ladys heart skipped a beat...
