>>28440364People were questioning "what's the point of global" before EN debuted but after they did we suddenly became considered super-necessary because a huge crowd came in just for ENs, as in like several times the size of /hlg/'s actual native population. That is why Global became a natural thing, a space for just ENs, a ton of people clearly knew little to nothing about the JPs etc.
That may or may not be true with stars/tempus, but I do NOT think it's the same thing as when we were made, unless Tempus brings in a giant new crowd outnumbering us suddenly which I don't think is likely from the lack of interest so far. The question is, how do we feel about the state of the thread when they hit. Are we suddenly under seige 24/7 and the thread feels not like itself? If that happens, then Global should be renamed to actually-exclude them, just to make it watertight to preserve it from being attacked by newfags and seething anti-Cover faggots talking about them nonstop with bad intent to just to annoy us. If it's not -that- bad they should -still- be mostly kept out anyway besides when there are collabs, because they're Stars anyway, we don't normally talk about them here. We have dead hours even if stars are streaming normally, they're just not considered viable. If you wanted to watch a cute girl stream, a holostar stream is still not going to satisfy that.
