They'll watch the girls, and talk about the girls
JP fans also watch some ENs, and some EN fans watch some JPs
The homos are a different demographic, and that trends towards growth so as they grow so too would the overall posters, at least much faster than it would otherwise
As it was, we had room and just about enough images even if we could use some more, but the homos seem like they have the gas to support themselves and a separate thread
Doing so lets everyone win, and if there's collabs we could talk about them then when its appropriate
