Back then we had arguments about if that would even be a good thing or not, but eventually most people got on board with it, because she was incredibly enjoyable in the collab, and Global posters got invested in her after 5ch retards tried to make her feel bad for being loud. She followed up with a "MK8 but I can't be louder than a certain decibel" stream that was fun to watch, and people bonded more.
Eventually, someone translated her member's ASMR stream and posted it here, and the Polka interest went form a curiosity to a long-term investment with a lot of anons. Meanwhile, the old thread was very infested with gokisei hate, so those guys started coming here to post when it got particularly bad, pre-Refugee Crisis.
Nekkos showed up more around the same time as Omaru-za with the copypasta we made keeping interest up, Bodan showed up more frequently around December with hagposting, and Yukimin really came in force a few weeks ago, with the 3D streams really driving them in force.
