I just realized
Watching ORK was like watching a CGDCT slice of life anime in real time which is why I miss it so much, there were even character tropes and roles that naturally formed themselves in the household:
>Cute autistic little sister who is unhinged but everyone dotes on her because she's just so damn cute, was good at obeying the mum as long as she was provided meat. She was frequently at odds in her opinions with her older sister and they got into arguements like which apple they prefer but they were also both at the same wavelength most of the time
>Older, fussy and brattier sister who had very peculiar demands and tastes for food but deep down she was very caring and got along great with her younger sister even though they fought frequently, very competitive when playing games and doesn't like losing. Even though she was a cute smug brat who was very internet savvy, She was also the shyest member of the group when she met new people which was a cute contrast
>Adorable and tiny but really caring mother who loved her children. She did most of the chores like cooking, laundry, groceries while also taking them out for shopping in a foreign land she was familiar with, she had a wild side to her when drunk but she also liked to watch her children just enjoy themselves from the background dozing off after a long day of work
The best part of all of this was that because they lived in the same house, you would see cool cameos of them in streams they were not advertised in such as Bae's zatsu where Mumei popped by or the fruit tasting stream where Bae brought them coffee and tea
We would see the trio go out and meet their relatives, one of them was a really cool character in Towa who wooed and won over their hearts
There was also IRyS who was a distant and elusive character who our main characters would allude to, possibly setting up for her appearance in a later season
The season ended with them exchanging their home culture and tightening their bonds with distant coworkers in Subaru and Lui who were very inviting and eager to listen, they even prepared delicious food to go with their talk.
ORK was beautiful, sure they didn't have the quirky banter and chaotic, schizophrenicly hopping podcast vibe of something like SNOT or the girly anime/lifestyle talk of CHAD but they felt really precious and genuine, all of the girls loved each other and they loved living with each other, enjoying their trip to the fullest and sharing stories of their exploits here and there
I miss ORK and I hope they have fun for the remainder of their trip
