I have finally come to understand the difference between Myth and Council and why Myth have far more antis/shitposters/rrats drama surrounding them than Council do, and why Council streams have a more fun, innocent feeling when watching than Myth, which are more serious.
This is because the characters/personalities of Myth are reminiscent of anime watched during your early adulthood years and the members themselves lean into their actual grown up millenial selves, while Council on the other hand, in terms of personality, the way they speak and the archetypes they draw upon in the minds of the viewer, are entirely associated with childhood.
Fauna is the primordial mother, both in character concept and temperament, she is the ultimate quintessential mother archetype and everything about the way she acts, speaks, talks to her chat and looks (a very womanly, very fertile woman) lends itself to this. Then there is Bae, who is an ultimate tomboy, evoking girls in their pre-pubescent when they are still androgynous and undifferentiated and her high energy and brattyness and naivety matches this; she is the ultimate representation of that girl you played with in school on the playground, back when you didn't know that boys and girls were much different.
Then there is Mumei, whose demeanour and personality, character concept and the way she speaks is both like the presenter of a children's tv show, lulling a circle of children to sleep with a story, or a young primary school teacher reading to a class of children and the quiet librarian that children are familiar with in their younger years (this mostly applies to millenials as visiting libraries as children was more commonplace for them). Furthermore, Mumei has an inexplicable dark side that seems at odds with her outward nature however even this is presented in a childlike way; Mumei's unsettling drawings and expressions of darkness are like nightmarish and simplistically 'evil' things a child would imagine - vaguely grasping at the darkness of the world but not quite understanding it. The combination of this with Mumei's librarian/teacher-like vibe makes sense as children fear authority figures and their nightmares are inspired by them.
And then there is Kronii, who is the epitome of childish solipsistic pride in her narcissistic roleplaying but also the audience identifies in Kronii the bitterness of a teenager coming into conflict with the harsh realities of adult life in contrast to their childish outlook and the self-pitying way they express this conflict. Kronii is a representation of what is in store for the child's mind later on and in this way she works as the perfect foil to the other members and heightens their childishness. And then finally there was Sana, the 'space baby' who was the ultimate face of pure innocence and childishness; her influence is still felt on the upbeat, starry-eyed way the rest of Council still interact.
This is why Council streams feel like 'fun' in a more pure free sense than the complicated more adult appreciation you have for Myth streams, because Council appeals to the repressed child part of your mind.
