Shes fucked herself out of getting into VSaikyo now that she made the push to Predator official. Shes not going to get invite as a Team Lead with no JP reps and her only way in was Axel practically begging Hal to give her a lower point total since her being in Predator was years ago. valorant is a logistical nightmare to run; two bo3 matches tournament format matches can already last longer than a 6-game Apex set
to get a decently sized tournament done in one day will probably require at least one of the following:
-running matches offstream
-single elim
-best of 1
all of which are awful for participants and viewers alike
that's not to even mention how much harder it is to put together teams of five people and line their schedules up to practice/build chemistry compared to three

It's completely different. Apex is more action packed and exciting with a lot of unpredictability so can maintain audience attention much better, but valorant isn't remotely like that. It can be nail biting and such, but tends to have a lot more boring shit go on more often and for longer.

CS is simple, there is basically just smokes and flashes and it's easy to understand, and imo, understanding plays a big part in enjoyment.

This describes Apex, doubly so depending on whether the main stream has good observers and/or you're only watching one/a few teams. Most of it is going to be looting simulator, the rest is going to be observing the other team that killed you.
With good observers like APACN ones then once you've skipped out the first half of prep then it starts getting good, but also depending on RNG it could be shit. With bad observers who only watches TSM while the killfeed is rolling, then it's anything but action-packed. Dunno if it's still so bad though, bad 2 LANs ago I remember those idiots doing a listen in to OG doing shit while the killfeed was showing action everywhere but here.

But to do that I need to see it occasionally get a kill to understand that it's supposed to be a threat. At least in Apex when you see people throw out a zoning Bang ult, you know it's to zone because that shit does occasionally get kills.

I mean, do you play CS? If you do then imagine you could buy a utility item that would watch over an area, automatically fire at enemies in its FOV, doing low damage but tagging them and alerting you to their presence. Do you not think that would be a powerful item?

I've always separated surveillance and area denial. So not really no.
