But in the end, it's about defeating those things even if they hurt her deeply (possibly irreparably), and the feeling of finality and departure you described is about moving on from the pain of past mistakes, which is also reflected in the story told by the music video and is corroborated by Mori's account of her working with TK on the lyrics.
