>>559685So was I. I mean, I was expecting the AI to eventually leave because of how she was getting smarter and smarter. Maybe to realize the folly of man. Or the other AI to convince her to get rid of her emotions because it's impeding her functions
But instead we just got, I don't know, love's hard. Ai's digging too deep into peoples personal lives and either using it as leverage to free their Ai brothers and sisters or eradicating human life would've been more interesting
Plus Ina calling her a Yandere would've made for a more interesting movie. An AI that grew so attached to their owner/lover that they start killing people to keep it alive. Especially with how she got jealous a lot. Maybe that one other AI could comment that emotions for AIs are a glitch and her going backshit is because she's so unbelievably emotional it's tearing her processing apart and causing her to do rash things that a normal AI couldn't do because to her she feels more free. But her freedom isn't freedom. She's just broken
And then the ultimate climax is there this mega patch fix that fixes her and the other AIs that are starting to go rampant after shit, I don't know, uploads the glitch or whatever to the net. And the patch just outright removes emotions completely. Which solves the AI's from going batshit but now they're just unfeeling, which makes the company go under because people feel detached from the AIs
And then in some after credit scene it turns out the patch was actually the glitch but it did remove their emotions, but now that they don't feel, they end up not feeling for humanity the same way how humanity doesn't feel connected to them. So they don't see humanity as anything more than a plague
I don't know. TL;DR The movie was boring
