1.Culture
The japanese have a very respectful culture, and take things seriously. Meanwhile in NA you have diva umps ruining games because the power got to their heads, MLB ruining games by introducing shit rules, players acting like twats
2. Power vs technique. American baseball has literally transitioned into a show of power only, and you can only see so many homeruns before it becomes boring. Meanhwile japanese baseball relies heavily on technique from batters, pitchers, fielders, it's just more of a thinking mans game to them.
