A lot of people shit on luxiem, but luxiem pulled great numbers.
From what I could tell, it was homo EN gen 2 (i forgot what they were called which makes my point) that really kicked off the downfall of nijiEN. The co-ed gen was just a disaster waiting to happen. My guess is these two complete fuckups had management in such a tizzy that instead of doing anything reasonable, they just went full black corpo and now we're here.

They were genuinely on track to become head to head with HoloEN, the first three gens had some hard hitters that even beat out council sometimes early on.
Then Luxiem came In and brought an entirely new demographic into the EN hemisphere, fujos.
Nobody saw their massive success coming, and they got big enough for even Hololive bring Stars to the EN side.
As a result schizo fujos ended up being the only focus for management and all the things that made the first 3 gens special slowly started to dissapear overtime.
Anons even forget that millions and enna were well beloved and the face of NijiEN at some point

If you are an OG fan then you know that the stream that started the downfall of NijiEN was during Millie's first birthday.
