Time for my uncalled for ramble:
People often say that Selen's issues with management start at specific time some time into her career. You know, manager changes etc.
But that's not true. You know why? Because even before Lazulight debuted there were certain decisions made that show how bad this management team was from the start on all levels.
First of all some retard made a decision that both waves were supposed to be themed in contrast to each other: good and bad. You know, before even establishing any chemistry between characters/streamers, they already decided themes for their respective waves. On top of that they paired Selen with Elira. and holy fuck, they are so different from each other they almost never streamed together. So that's another failure.
Then there is something that i might risk controversy with but hiring Finana is just weird. I could go on why, but since its about Selen, I will stop at saying that she is simply... not very good at any niche. And she is just so stupid, she is a liability.
So yeah, planning and talent management for the Lazusydia was shit from even before they debuted.
Of course later on more and more issues started arising, but this shit started going down at the PLANNING phase.

We don't know we wont know until we get the notice since Niji or her lawyer chokeslammed her socials through a steel table so just strap in and go through your backlog. With Kyo's wiggernation we know there's a queue and because of management constantly fucking over Selen we know Niji isn't going to back down. So you have two scenarios to look at. They graduate her in march after Q1 over shareholder concerns and the queue. Or they starve her for 10 months of homeless dumpster diving and freezing in the ditch until her contract expires.

Most of what you're talking about is pretty inconsequential lore crap. Lore never works out, it's a lost cause and is really just there for fun, you would basically have to be Machiavelli to make it turn into something real. More likely a new cabinet reshuffle like Zuttomo. Lazulight and Obsydia have some glaring holes in them. The simplest solution is to just stitch up the holes and mend whats left of Lazulight and Obsydia together.

Yep. I think I am done with this company now. I have defended them through a lot, but this is too far. I know it's not the remaining livers' fault, but I just can't continue to support them while they're in this company or while management continues to be this bad. Things have been terrible since early 2023 and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a change in management behind the scenes at that time because 2021-2022 were great times for Nijisanji. I've heard they put out applications for a new manager for EN a while back but I'm not sure if that's going to do much good if it's just going to be someone who's forced to behave the way the current management is behaving. I know there is potential for the company to recover, because I watched Hololive go through some bad times and then have a stellar recovery once they got rid of Omega. So I am open to returning someday, but I have got to hear word of massive changes to the management, a return to the days of talent freedom that they had in 2021-2022, before they decided that going in a draconian direction was somehow a good idea that would benefit the company, forgetting the whole reason they got popular in the first place was because of their freedom. I see this company going in one of two directions. They are going to feel a strong backlash from the decision they have just made, so they will either realize they have to change, and recover, or stubbornly refuse, and crumble to dust.

If you're reading this, Selen, I'm sorry this happened to you. Rest assured I will always continue to support you in your future endeavors.
