There is no similarity or connection between the two whatsoever.
To think otherwise - or to even care about the mundane and disappointing thing you believe is attached to the anime girl - is utterly delusional. Cast away your attachment to the real and embrace the strange transient hyperreal nature of this hobby. Only there will you find peace.
