If you really think you spend too much time, then make a list of everything you think you could be doing that's more productive.
Once you've done the list, you can consider any time after that your "free time" that you shouldn't be mad at yourself for wasting. If you're already doing the important things but need a break you shouldn't deprive yourself of that, that'll just get you burned out.
