Had a outpatient surgery last week and recovering. Lease was abruptly ended due to rising tension between two room mates, one of which was violating the lease and said he would continue until we were kicked out. Both room mates got fucked over in this situation. It forced my hand to move in with my partner of 4 years.
All that said... I love my life, I am extremely happy. This year has been nothing but optimism, regardless of any bad situations I have had. I haven't even had to 'fight off' my depression, haven't been medicated in years. I am totally independent, I have a alright job (full time, benefits, salary, easy, allowed to work autonomously).
When I tell people what has happened these past couple weeks they say sorry, and I just think to myself "I'm the happiest I've ever been."
