>>6724075Alright man, let me tell you, it's not going to happen. There are probably about 15-20,000 youtubers who have a large enough fan base and income for their youtube channel to be their primary source of finance. These people got to where they were because they were either amazingly charismatic or immensely talented, or enough of a faggot to be an idol to pre-teens.
And time after time again, I meet people who say that one day they want to be a youtuber. How, I say. They say they're going to gaming/comedy etc. These people have complete false hope. They want to do something that hundreds of other people already do but at a much better level as to what they can. They want to do something that thousands of people are already trying to do and are already failing at.
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm trying to make you realize that you're going to fail going down this route. Listen to me, instead of wasting your mum's money on a camera and video equiptment and making Minecraft lets plays all day or whatever, think of a job that you would be good at, enjoy, and will probably still be there and needed in 5, 10, 20, 40 years. Think of a job that's real. Like accountant, police officer, plumber just really anything that will be there in the future. Youtube will either be completely different or out of the loop in 10 years. Think of a real job. Think of some sort of hobby or something you already do and are good at and enjoy. Something that can be turned into a respectable career. No, not comedy, not Youtube. Go out and study for that job. Get that job. If you chase Youtube for the upcoming years, you'll get nothing done and you'll get to your 30s and you'll be so far behind everyone else because you wasn't laying the foundations for the future.
Anon, I'm trying to tell you this because I care, I don't want you to fail at "your" dream and then have nothing else. I've hit the limit now, but don't live in delusion Anon.
