>>7396008I'm working 60 hour weeks for $15 an hour. I thought I could handle it, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Not only is it physical and mentally exhausting as I have no clue about industrial equipment, but the political aspect of it (owners like to micromanage) which results in infuriating exhaustion. That, along with a failed plan to try to learn the courses that got me kicked out of college so I could return and get my useless degree. Haven't touched a single textbook that I've bought, but somehow managed to procrastinate myself into a new build with money that should honestly have gone elsewhere, like the investment portfolio I keep telling myself I'll get around to. At least overtime's good pay and my build went without a hitch.
I also broke up a four year relationship. Don't know why, it just didn't get to me when it finally happened. Weird how a six months ago I bought a ring but chose to do nothing with it other than hide it in the attic. More space in my condo, I guess.
I sometimes wonder what my dad's childhood was like.
