I don't have a big existential crisis, I just really, really miss my home town. I moved away for college because I thought I was tired of the city, but I was just tired with high school and now I'm stuck hundreds of miles from my family and my entire friend group. It's funny, all of us scattered across the country for college and yet we're still as close as we've ever been, and going into year 3 here it seems like we're all going to end up back home too. Which is something I couldn't be more grateful for, but it makes the waiting all the more unbearable.
I miss the incredible restaurants, the stupid and confusing roads, the oppressive summer heat that fades into a warm blanket as the sun sets, days on the lake and nights out late surrounded by the sounds of the city. I can't wait to go home.
