The noise and vibrations of oncoming train are so intense it's not easy to just lay still, even on some tranquilizers. Survival instinct kicks in in every cell of your body.
I lost a leg but they were able to save the rest of me.
Now 10 years later i live a quite satisfying life. It's still hard sometimes and the feeling of absurdity and pointlessness creeps in from time to time, but I'm not planning on logging out in the next 10 or 20 years. There are too many interesting, pleasurable, exciting things to be tried, conversations to be had, moments to experience.
