I've got lots of favourite wallpapers, here's one of my favourite planes, a V-22 Osprey.

Things have been precarious lately. Work is tough and I'm living with untreated depression I think, at least, I'm often thinking of suicide, due to changes in my work and personal life. Hopefully things get better soon!

Well, all-in-all, I'd say that's a pretty good attitude to have. It's rough to feel depressed, though friends I've talked to have said their depression generally worsened, or was replaced by wild mood swings/anxiety when they started taking anti-depressants, but there's things you can do about it that don't involve taking hard drugs to be straight, they're just not as general and blanketing as pharmaceuticals. Thinking of suicide and attempting it seem reasonably far apart to me, anyhow. How have you recovered from depression before, anon?

I just put the girl to bed but, as usual, I wasn't able to fall asleep so I went back up again. Been wondering what to do with our situation lately. I mean, I'm quite comfortable, but not really fulfilled, ya know? Over the past year I have often felt like I'm just idly spectating my life passing by. Have gotten more and more shut off, too. Spring is looking to be upon us soon, though.

Hey other anons, I'm also anon.

My favorite papes are usually ones I make myself from artwork I've made or turning non wallpaper artwork into a wallpaper through edits. It feels nice to look at them and know that they're unique in that way because I made them into a wallpaper.

This is one of my favorite papes because it's made entirely from scratch. No source images or anything like most of my other digital art that I've turned into wallpapers, and it's one of my only completely original art pieces that I felt would work as a wallpaper. It's not the best, but I like it since I know I made it.

I just found out that I got denied from graduate schools again after my second year of applying. Honestly I'm pretty close to just giving up on getting a PhD. But I'm moving in with my SO soon so at least I have that going for me.

But to all the sad, depressed, and/or suicidal anons, I know how it feels. I've been there, and struggle every day to not go back to the utter darkness of where I've been in the past.

Change it up and do something different if you find yourself in a funk. Even if it's an Anon, pick someone safe to talk to if the depression deepens. If the depression still seems inescapable, muster up the courage and find an IOP to meet other people in the same situation and possibly get on medication. If the knife is on your skin or your finger is on the trigger, please call 911. It'd the most heroic thing you could ever do.
