I never got people who killed themselves. If your valuation of life had gone so far down, why not use that to take insane risks and live like you would only be on earth for a day? Fuckin drive as fast as you want, flying a plane you dont own, trying some drugs, commiting high seas piracy, these thing could easily be done with the same level of motivation (or lack of value for your time on earth) it takes to kill yourself. Why wouldn't you pick the cool option instead?

which is totally different from abandoning your buy-in with society and doing everything you ever wanted to try but had good reasons not to.

The latter implies you have effort left to spend but no self preservation instinct. The former leads to suicide because the misery and crushing defeat of just living overwhelms your self preservation.

I personally believe in reincarnation.
We wipe our minds and memories away upon death. Then depending on the way we left the world we have intention to plug back in. (like the matrix in a way).

It's interesting that studies show a human baby in the 1-9 month pregnancy cycle leaves it's body from time to time.
Testing the body. Testing the vibrations of the family that will be responsible for him/her.

I dont think people can develop such depression. People who have no reason to live, nor to die are usually born with such depression. Everyone is born with different and sadly sometimes the bad traits outnumber the good ones.
