>>7876952Don't really have the terminology for it, but WPs were definitely a bit more "busy". Some people were still using 4:3 monitors in the 00's. You didn't really see a lot of Fascist or Communist imagery because people still thought Neoliberal capitalism worked and the future would be bright.
00's anime had a really distinct look I like for wallpapers too. Didn't really have the organic vibe of 80's/90's anime look(eg watercolor backgrounds) but didn't look too CGI-y either.
