I like her a lot, because she's dedicated to her goals without reference to what others belief. I should say, I've made a conscious chief to stop at the anime, so I don't know all the things you do. But, I appreciate how genuine Ubel is. She lets her own compass guide her. In some ways, I think this is key to her magic, because it requires that she understands someone fundamentally, rather than merely approximate their views.
In the end, I think the best kind of person is formed into someone where their own internal compass guides them rightly, but I appreciate the honest nature of someone like Ubel over someone who appears righteous, but is really just afraid of being judged by society.
