>>4432847>>4432936while I can agree that Komi is a good character due to her hilarious and outrageous development, Yuu is just a placeholder with simple, shallow personality that can be summed up as a friendly dumbo
Nemo on the other hand creates very complex dynamics with Tomoko
>two otakus>both rejected by society in one form or another>both desperate to be successful in high school>something between vengefulness and obsession that Nemo feels towards Tomoko during first year, while Tomoko sees Nemo as a filthy normie, leading to one year of silence between them>as Tomoko opens up to people, Nemo becomes her friend>turns out both are otakus>friendly rivalry is established>after pretending to be someone else to not get rejected like back then, Nemo can publicly announce that she's an otaku and an aspiring voice actress, all thanks to Tomoko being unapologetically herself>all of that without getting rushed or dramatized, things get slowly in an organic way>later Nemo gets corrupted by Tomoko and becomes a weirdo of similar calibretop tier duo, among the best-written characters overall, worthy of getting a spin-off series
