And here I was hoping we'd be having a Zelda discussion this week.
I held off on reading it until today because dang that's a lot of text. Thought it was pretty cool, frankly. I like Baptiste. I think he's the most interesting new character in a very long time. That said, as I made my way through pages upon pages, part of me couldn't help but think "Boy. It's really been a while since Pharah did anything." Also, Baptiste can apparently get a thirty-page short story to address his concerns and feelings after three months, but Tracer can't get a single line of dialogue to express how she feels about failing to prevent an assassination in her own neighborhood after three years. Tch. I don't even consider these detracting points, but it's part of the process for me: whenever a character gets something new and nice, even if I enjoy it, it reminds me of everything else that irks me.
>>3469429Hey, cheer up, at least she's mentioned in the context of another character praising and wanting to help her. With my waifu, you never know if she's going to get something nice or be ground into the dirt and abandoned for a year. Now, I'm not saying that to play "waifu misery poker", but to make a point: treasure the moments–great and small–that treat her with respect, because they are precious.
Your exams should be over now, right? Well, I'm sure you did well on them, and now you can have them off your mind. Relax and take comfort; let's celebrate!
