>>3242363There you go! You might be closer to having the right attitude than you think. Like I said, I don't blame you for feeling that way, because they haven't fostered much of an incentive to think otherwise. That being said, I'm of the opinion they'll -have- to improve things just because they've left themselves with no other options by this point. I'm also not getting my hopes too high, but I've never expected the earth and the moon. All I need to be happy is something respectable that develops her, allows her to earn a meaningful new accomplishment that reinforces her capabilities, and maybe even lets her take off her goggles and smile. I think that's a fair expectation, and I don't feel unreasonable for describing it.
I wanted -so- badly for there to be a post-ending scene that set things up for later, and I kept waiting for it even when I knew it was over. Like, after the logo fades out, imagine we instead cut back to the workshop as the doorbell rings. Homeboy gets up to answer it, and...
"Good morning, love. Is Miss Song available? I would like to speak with her about something."
I would have marked out like nothing else, and I wouldn't have even cared about the logistics. Alas, I suppose we'll just have to keep waiting to see what happens, but at least we'll be here in the meantime to help it go by more smoothly.
