To make things even more twisted, it has been revealed that the police investigated this back in 2014 but never reported its findings. Why did they do this?

The forest land is owned by Faith Town, a place where people who are a part of a well-known cult live together. The cult, Chunbukyo Church, worships its late leader, Park Tae Sun, as a god, and for that, have been officially labeled as a cult by Christian churches in Korea.

The bodies that were discovered were buried secretly, without a legal permit; police in the local area had knowledge of this and started an investigation but quietly ended it without any official reports.

The strangeness related to this case does not end there.

In a list that CBS No Cut News acquired, it shows the names, tombstone numbers, gender, death dates, burial dates, and family information of the buried people. However, 40 of them have no such information, making them unidentifiable.

A committee that formed to prevent damages by cult organizations held a press conference back in 2014, accusing Chunbukyo of illegally burying bodies, but the evidence has only been revealed now.

Many are puzzled by the lack of action from the police, accusing the police department of being a part of or working with the cult. One member of the committee stated, "It's impossible to understand...There are a lot of rumors about someone powerful who is backing the Chunbukyo Church."

Biden Allegations

No.596675 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Why isn't the MSM treating the Biden allegations in the same fiery passion like they did with Kavanaugh and Trump? It's fucking ridiculous how slight the media attention is at large. I'm not a Trump supporter and I was 50/50 on the Kavanaugh hearings... and I get it, I get it. I'm not that naive... I understand that the MSM has divided loyalties between the DNC and the RNC. I'm just wondering why this is being so hushed.

#BelieveAllWomen was the biggest fucking joke in recent memory. I mean, Jesus fucking Christ... Is it only okay when the rapist is the guy who's playing on YOUR team? Even if Reid is lying out of her ass, which she very well might be, it's the media's responsibility to treat the story with the same propensity, is it not?

Pharma companies' refusal to share data is hampering coronavirus vaccine development

No.582881 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
The past few weeks have revealed the worst and the best in human responses to the coronavirus crisis – from the supermarket hoarders clearing the shelves to the neighborhood groups organizing help for elderly and vulnerable people.

When it comes to the pharmaceutical companies, how should we judge their response? They, after all, hold the key to ending the pandemic. Yet in one vital respect their behavior has more in common with the supermarket hoarders than the neighborhood groups.

Our exit strategy from the global lockdown depends on the development of an effective vaccine, as is well-known. A huge effort is under way to find such a vaccine, but we cannot afford to wait the 18 months it might take.

Coronavirus vaccine: when will it be ready?

In the meantime, as the death toll increases, doctors are desperate for treatments that would lessen the impact of the virus, by shortening the infection, reducing its severity and in that way saving lives. There is now a global hunt for a coronavirus drug. But it is a fight against time. The focus is therefore on existing treatments already proved to be safe for other diseases which will need less testing and be easier and quicker to manufacture in quantity.

Scores of trials are under way around the world. The World Health Organization has identified four of the most promising therapies — including an HIV combination treatment, an anti-malarial and a drug developed but never used against Ebola — for testing in a global trial launched last month. But we cannot pause the search while waiting for the results. The need for new effective agents is too great.

Counterfeit N-word passes in school

No.357956 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
One kid in Oconomowoc High School in Wisconsin printed out and distributed golden n-word passes, and some people got mad. "I was furious," said an anonymous parent. "It was very hurtful."

"Oconomowoc High School and the Oconomowoc Area School District condemns this hate speech. These kinds of words and actions are not tolerated in our schools," the district said in a statement.

“We are so very sorry that the actions of one of our students deeply offended and hurt people,” said Superintendent Roger Ringo. “There is no place for it in our schools or in our community.”

But the parent believes the district’s statement doesn’t go far enough.

"This is unacceptable and enough is enough," she said.

She wants the high school to educate its students on the power of hateful words and urge them to be kind.

The school district says the student who made and distributed the flyers was disciplined but they did not give specifics.

The school district also referred the student to the police department.

>Taking a cue from a GOP ally, President Trump on Sunday attacked a former senior Justice Department official appointed by a federal judge to review the FBI’s proposed wiretap application reforms in the wake of a critical inspector general report.
>“You can’t make this up! David Kris, a highly controversial former DOJ official, was just appointed by the FISA Court to oversee reforms to the FBI’s surveillance procedures. Zero credibility. THE SWAMP!” Trump tweeted.
