You are the beneficent, sagacious, glamorous and more or less benevolent Wild Princess, Huanliuxue (欢流血, Happy Bloodshed/ Happy to Shed Blood), Heiress apparent to the sealed legacies of Demonic Beasts and the most regal and beautiful amongst cats. Fulfilling your duties as Sect Head, Teacher and foremost elder (besides you adoptive mother, The toad witch) amongst the heretical Palace of Natural Laws (宫殿的野生彝宪, Gōngdiàndīyěshēngyíxiàn) sect, you traveled to the underworld in the company of your ghostly serpent student, Yùjījiǎo (Jade Horn, 玉 犄角), to figure out how one without a body to cultivate Qi within, lacking Meridians, Spiritual Roots and everything else require to absorb, containing and refine Qi, could cultivate, not wishing the unfortunate girl to be left behind by her peers considering her unique...handicap.
However, while you were searching a devilish bazaar for a trinket or scroll that could solve this quandary, you stumbled upon a strange, vanishing bookshop. You aren't sure what happened when you stepped past its doors, but you emerged with four strange scriptures. One of which seeming to be the answer to Yujijiao's plight, the Manual titled The Famine of Breath (饥饿的气, Jī'èdīqì). However, the other prizes you left with, were simply strange. One seemed drawn from the fable of the man devouring sword, detailing the creation of intelligent steel, another a record of your history and techniques, constantly updating itself with blood red ink, and the last...was a letter.
Which when opened revealed the last will and testament of the first Demonic Beast betrayed by the heavens and slain by their fellow Daoists, when all Magical Beasts were named a product of Demonic cultivation, which revealed numerous delectable secrets, such as the fact the two storied enemies and legendary rivals, The Five Colors Emperor and the Supreme Devil Mind, were in fact once lovers and even married and that the Ling Clan are the descendants of this supremely controversial and colorful pairing and thus descendants of a demonic lineage. But, more importantly than that, the letter, when it reached its end and showed you the depressing final thoughts of its writer, spat out a dust covered Manual wrapped in green dyed leather into your arms with enough force to nearly throw you to the ground.
Stunned, and hearing the moth spirit who brought you to the parlor of the artisans whose services you were waiting for when you opened the letter, you shook your head and then waved the Manual through the air to clean away the dust, creating a dense, choking cloud of it around you and the gates leading into the manor of the weaver, Anjing-Yinshi (安靜-隐士, Quiet Hermit)
Wiping the stubborn dust that refused to be removed with the back of your hand, you saw the name of this most ancient of Manuals.
Beast Saint Doctrine (野兽圣教理, Yěshòushèngjiàolǐ)
