True Crime Report: “Exo Costume Covered in Purple Slime — Skeleton Visible Through It”

At 02:47 local time maintenance drones detected an unregistered object floating near the airlock of Dock 19. Upon retrieval, the object was identified as an exo-suit, military grade, bearing the insignia of Lt. Alan Marsh, missing in action since the Europa breach incident two weeks prior.

The suit was found entirely coated in a thick, purple, mucous-like substance emitting faint bioluminescent pulses every 6–8 seconds. Analysis of the material revealed a high concentration of unknown organic proteins not cataloged in any military or xenobiological database.

Through the translucent film, the skeletal remains of Lt. Marsh were visible inside the armor. There were no signs of external trauma to the suit, but several inner components appeared partially dissolved, as if corroded from within. Forensic scans confirmed that the purple substance had penetrated the exo-shell’s reinforced carbon plating, suggesting it either evolved or was engineered to digest synthetic materials.

Security footage from Dock 19 showed no evidence of forced entry or external contact in the 48 hours prior to discovery. The slime continues to move slightly in containment, reacting to light and temperature changes.
