How would you create a food-based toy that's innovative and marketable, but wouldn't become completely useless the minute it falls out of style and the refills get discontinued?

Any good Toy Story toys to buy? Something cheap and good, like at max $100. I'd like if it would be multiple figures or something. Or something else based on Pixar films such as Wall E, Monsters Inc., Incredibles, etc.
