>>7528564Gotta love random chance sometimes eh. I miss that aspect of living in Europe, It seemed like just about every store that had a toy section over there had army men, and quality army men at that. Proper packs of identifiable armies, with plenty of vehicles and accessories, rather than the hopelessly generic, recopied and recloned cheap troops that are seldom given more than a flag, if that. True, quality army men can be found online, but their higher cost and the impersonality of not getting to see them in person on a shelf or rack just take something away from it all. The recent appearance of

Still, I have to accept that in the life cycle of army men, we're probably in one of the valleys for the time being, though these finds and that other set with the tan AH-64 offer a glimmer of hope for a future army men renaissance. On the flip side, TRUs here were clearancing their various army men offerings last year, and I didn't see anything new on my last couple visits. Walmarts have had nothing at all for years now, and there's hardly anywhere else around here that would potentially carry them. The liquidation centre once had a fantastic bagged set of army men and accessories a couple years back, which I regret not obtaining in greater amounts at the time due to financial limitations. These days they only have little barrel containers of army-themed toys, not worth the expense. Dollarama has these as well, along with some occasional new and sometimes interesting sets of vehicles. Oh well, I'm pressed for space as it is, with my Lego, Chinese legos and Mega piling up.
