The totems for example mostly have good synergy, stats, and decent movepools. Same goes with ingame trainers hitting harder with good evs and ivs. It's not pants shittingly hard, but it's good for a pokemon game.
BW2 doesn't have many memorable ingame fights for me imo. Maybe it's because the highlight fights like Clay and Elesa are basically the same as in Black and White. Postgame trainers Like Benga, N, and rematches are excellent though.
I'd say that BW2 has more content overall. However, one thing that I like about USUM is the move tutors from mantine surfing. The increased move selection made it more viable to use certain pokemon that I otherwise wouldn't have, and the npcs using tutor moves made for a nice surprise while fighting them too.
