Heatran is a weird one unlike nearly all mysticals/legendaries it has a gender, zero lore and like OP pic given to random trainers especially early on.

No evidence for this but i imagine Heatran was given mythical status last minute for post game content.

In the main games you at least tend to have more opportunities to heal your Pokemon from low health, and at levels 50+ you will run into the scenario where a potion that heals for 200HP won't heal for 100% HP. And in later generations they nerfed Hyper Potions into being a 120HP heal, anyway, which isn't reflected in Pokemon Go for some reason.

I like the oldfags, Drayden and Drasna (and Drake I guess). It makes sense for the mystical, powerful Dragon type to have been mastered by those who have dedicated their lives to it. Young upstarts like Lance and Raihan can suck it with their weird overly dramatic style of dress and overbearing attitudes. They probably just picked the type up because they were told it's the strongest and think they themselves are hot shit as a result. (Clair kinda has an excuse since she hangs most of her life in Blackthorn where this whole attitude is prevalent and assumed from her elders.) Iris kinda crosses over to the other side to being amusing and cool with how much of a youngster prodigy at Dragon training she is despite being a wild child from bum-fuck somewhere.

I can't imagine that the new3DS has much more powerful hardware or higher specs than the original 3DS, but I can imagine Nintendo forcing people to either buy a new3DS/2DS or a Switch to play Gen 8.

I don't mind alternate interpretations of characters and heavily altered story events even now. It's very clearly the time constraints that are strangling the comic to death and leaving no time for, well, anything. It feels like the last time PokeSpe had a properly executed story arc was in the gen 3 days with FRLG+Emerald. Both DP and BW were decent but ultimately messed up to various degrees by setting up yet another arc for Plat and B2W2 respectively, and we all know what happened with the latter especially.
