>>54747740I really liked BW's story. I thought that the final act at the Pokemon League was really memorable. Racing against time beating the Elite Four, finding out that N is right ahead of you. Stumbling upon N having seen him defeated Alder. The gym leaders showing up and intimidating the sages. N healing your team to full before having an honorable duel with you. And then Ghetsis kicking his own son while he's down. The Ghestsis fight was pretty nervewracking. N's departure made me a little teary eyed. I was never as invested in a mainline game's story as BW's.
>>54747788>Put down your "new game bad" contrarianism and look at the game for what it did in modernizing the formula and finally making an open world game where you craft your own adventure as originally envisioned by Red and Blue. From the pictures I've seen, aesthetically it just doesn't look like the interesting Pokemon world of the earlier games and the early anime. Is it really that good? Also, are all the Pokemon in? And megas too?
>>54747807>3. Legends Arceus>The world and region design is gritty and dangerous and brings back the old adventurous feel from the classic gens 1-4.Really?
>>54747824>1. Emerald>it fixes the story by making Rayquaza a discovery you have to make yourself.Huh? IIRC in Sapphire, you have to discover Rayquaza yourself, while in Emerald wasn't there a cutscene of Rayquaza showing up during the Groudon vs Sapphire battle in or near Sootpolis?
>>54748135>RS:>loved the diving gimmick for what it was Yeah, diving underwater into trenches, caverns, and sunken ships really helped make it feel like you were in the world with multiple layers, rather than just traversing across a flat videogame. Maybe if it was combined with rock climbing Sinnoh's mountains, it would be even better.
>>54748143>Let's go pee:>this one replaced wild battles with a gimmickWait, what did they do? Is that the one where you use a motion control to just throw a ball?
