Lillie's refusal to do any of those things just doesn't make sense from a narrative perspective. Besides the need to make wormholes, all the jelly juice did was remove Lusamine's inhibitions. Grief is what drove Lusamine mad. Her refusal to let go and move on. The relationship with her children was doomed regardless. Yet these same qualities see Lillie rewarded, while Lusamine punished, like everyone else in the game that does so. It's a bizarre contradiction.
