I think the Earthquake actually saved Best Wishes even if Team Rocket vs Team Plasma special got pruned. Because it shifted people attention away from the blunt racism from Trip which might have spark major outrage.

Chinese forum leak. According to the OP, the full image is a 2 page spread about returning and premiering characters for the anime. Some shots of Lisia, Ash-Greninja, etc. Poster says there's no context for why Latias is shown alongside Ash's other pokemon, so we can't make any assumptions.

Even if this is fake, they should really have Ash call in the reserves and do rotation through out Masters 8. He has 4 to 8 full matches to get through, so you could easily keep his core 6 and rotate in 2 at a time to fully take advantage of his reserves.

desu Leon only being shown in 1v1 really betrays the weakness of the format. Leon is only the unbeatable champion because he can just Dynamax his Charizard and utterly dominate anyone, when traditionally you'd wear a Dynamax down with the rest of your team and try to recover from there. This leads to a lot of strategy to WHEN you Dynamax to take full advantage of it. But with no team, Dynamaxing is free and utterly overpowered.

She actually really liked Ash at very beginning of helping her take care of the egg to the Ultra beast arc where Ash helped her mother and to the end where she gives him her Clefairy doll. If Sunfags were able to get away with their delusion of game lillie liking sun over the doll, the same is easily applied to Ash in the anime.

Depends on who was drawing him, honestly. Ash, Serena, and Clemont's designs were slip-sliding between 10 and 15 on a weekly basis, sometimes shot-to-shot in poorer looking episodes. I personally prefer the juxtaposition of a ten year old commanding powerful creatures, but many people creamed their jeans over Ash looking slightly older. I think what the anime did to Serena and Clemont's designs is an unforgivable offense to Ken Sugimori and the style he worked to establish for the games. I'm glad they recognized this and have now fixed it.

We know here it can't take up more than 2-3 minutes because the point of the ep is Clemont and Ash training together along with Bunnelby evolving. My point is they were still anime original characters, and yet that didn't stop them from being retired. Goh and Koharu being OCs are no guarantee that they're staying. It can arguably be a point in their favor, but it's not a sure thing.

The anon's point is that Goh's likely to stay because he's an OC. I pointed out that OC companions have been done before and all of them left. The anon didn't even have any arguments as to what makes Goh different from the other two apart from having a flexible goal (and if that were the case, then "flexible" goals didn't help Iris or Cilan, among others).

Oh for sure, moving the goalpost aside, his focus definitely has been lowered in the last few months. It was frustrating when they lowered Ash's focus, and it's frustrating to lower Goh's focus now. Not a fan of when Koharu eats an ep that could have been about either of them. Doesn't change the fact that Goh has basically had a third of all episodes so far dedicated to him and his Pokemon.
