Day 27 is onsen / hotspring day, I may not get all of them out in time before October is over due to work commitments, but that's ok, I'll finish them up and they'll forever be kept in the rentry.
https://rentry.org/sggoi>You're welcomed by a young lady who's face is obscured by a mask>The hot spring has a rather welcoming vibe>You enter a room and begin to undress, wearing just a towel. Afterwards, you head towards the hot spring.>As you sit in the hot spring to relax, you feel the first instance of dread, that something is terribly wrong.>At the corner of your eye, you swear you could see the hot spring begin to turn black, almost like ink>However, as you blink, the murky black ink had all but faded, as if it were only a trick of the mind.>You begin to worry, thinking that the water is contaminated. >You try to stand, but you can't, as if all the strength in your body had left you.>Gripped by some unknown feeling, you try to call out for help, but no sound escapes your mouth.>Is this what fear felt like?>The friendly young lady that had welcomed you previously, slowly approaches you, her mask still on.>She removes the mask, and you see it>A black void in place of a face, there were no defining features that one would call 'a face'.>However, the black void suddenly gained two golden spheres that resembled eyes, they stared into your very soul.>Following the eyes, rows of white knives appeared to resemble a mouth, grinning at you.>The black void was looking to consume you, as the young lady got closer to you, while you were unable to move or make a sound.>Finally, a scream comes out of your mouth, and you find yourself back to what you perceive as 'reality'>The girl is no where to be seen, you're able to move your limbs once again, you can make sounds once more with your mouth.>Feeling a sense of urgency, you stand up and head back inside>Ignoring the fact that you're still wet, you put on your clothes in a rush.>That's when the second instance of dread had began.>As you try to open the door to exit the room, you find that it is jammed tight, it will not budge.>You try to slam the door with your fist, demanding for help>That's when the liquid begins to drip onto you>The same viscous, black, murky ink-like liquid that you had seen in the hot spring.>It drips onto your shoulder, and begins to burn, as if it were acidic>The intense feeling of being burnt makes you recoil from the door and you gaze up at the ceiling in horror>Black ink had coated the ceiling, and a face that looked as if it were carrying intense sadness was drawn within the ink.>You begin to hear intense groaning coming from the face, as if it were in some kind of pain>More black ink drips down, you do your best to avoid it, running back out to the hot spring>However, the water that made up the hot spring had all been replaced>Jet black ink now flowed through>Your foot steps in, unaware at first, and instantly you pull back.>Your foot has all but evaporated in an instant, seared clean off.>The pain makes you scream out, unable to withold tears as you cried out in agony>Then you hear it.>A giant splash behind you.>Unable to handle much more, you begin to laugh a little, as if the first signs of insanity were taking hold>You turn and see that the black ink from the ceiling had dropped onto the floor, transforming together into a black slime-like creature.>You could hear its intense groans of pain, and then, it spoke.>"Fooood...at last...">Food? Was it referring to you? Were you that slime creature's meal?>The black ink slime suddenly jumped at you, and you scream in terror, shielding your head with your arms.>And just as it had begun, so too had it suddenly ended.>You're back in the room, dressed fully once again.>The young masked lady opens the door and speaks to you in a gentle voice.>"Dear customer, are you alright? I heard a loud scream earlier.">You shudder in fear from the sound of her voice, and you ask her to remove her mask>Confused about what there is to be afraid of, she willingly complies, and removes her mask.>Fiery golden eyes, with a sense of what almost looked like pure chaos, gazed into you, however the black abyssal void that you thought would take her face, was not present.>She just looked like a typical girl with a unique pair of eyes and a gentle smile.>She tilts her head and asks you once more>"Dear customer, are you alright?">You begin to laugh again slightly, the insanity of the prior hallucinations are now hitting you, but you stop yourself mid way and simply nod.>The final instance of dread began as soon as you had nodded>A wicked smile appears on the girl's face, and suddenly you find yourself frozen in place>The girl slowly walks up to you, with you unable to move at all>She gently rests her hands on your chest and the words that leave her mouth are simple, yet instill you with fear>"That's good, but since it's getting late, you should rest here for the night."
