>>3174279You're falling under the same low iq thoughts that people who go "oh, if x is allowed for other people but you don't have to do it then it shouldn't bother you, let people do what they want lmao"
If you actually give a shit about this place maintaining even a semblance of quality, you should take a look at spaces that do that successfully. What they all have in common? Everything has a place. Everything stays in its place. The people move around, but the topics boundaries are well-defined. People know where to go, where to post, can build in-roads an expectations and defined cultures for various topics.
"lmao man people will just know they're not as autistic as you"
Listen, if I asked you in person to with a completely serious face tell me that the majority of the posters in this board are socially conscious enough to filter their content by reading the air of the thread in question and the board itself, would you be able to do it without laughing?
We have thousands of mental 12 year olds here. They make up the majority of the posting population. And the sad fucking fact is that they always will, and if we want to have usable fucking threads, we have to plan around them. That means the equivalent of hard hats and road signs every 10 feet for everybody involved. That means very neatly-defined threads for specific topics without topic overlap.
tl;dr If you want this thread to not be full of retards, you've already lost. But if you want this thread to be the least retarded it can be, you need to design the board FOR retards.
