>>6156396Normally I assume most people going all-in on gluten free either just are too ignorant of biology/nutrition to know better, or know it's a disease but fake that they have it. Ame however IIRC can't even drink soda because it hurts her throat apparently. Probably would be the type to think mayo is spicy. So I can see her actually having some kind of royally fucked up GI tract overall hence could actually use it. Thing is, usually it's known and diagnosed a while back; you don't just decide to become it.
Literally the gluten free thing and also keto were both diets made to treat fucking diseases, real diseases people actually can get. For people with certain types of neurological disorders keto is literally the only way for them to not literally constantly get seizures and so on. Atkins diet was also a thing since decades ago but keto as a type of therapeutic/weight loss thing is more recent.
What's next, people will go all in on artificial sugar substitutes trying to go sugarfree because diabetics need to watch it closely? I mean sugar actually is quite unhealthy but I mean like people will start to have shitfits and Karen outbursts if you so much as suggest they have a normal soda like they used to be perfectly fine with.
