>>68146858It's entirely run in the browser. You spend real money or the premium currency (crystals) to roll for weapons which have characters attached to them and summons, 300 rolls and you get to pick one as a safety net measure. They're generally very generous with giving out large amounts of the premium currency for just playing the game and in celebration a few times a year, an average player can earn like 3-4 sparks (completing 300 rolls on a banner) a year if you spend them intelligently and capitalize on free roll banners
The power system in the game is split into 3 segments - characters (you roll for these and get "ok" ones from free events), your weapon grid (a set of 10 weapons that give you buffs like attack and hp, which are further split into magna and primal. Magna are free to play and grindable and can generally be used to clear any content in the game bar the highest content which while possible would be very very difficult and RNG most of the time. "primal" aura weapons are mostly those obtained from the gacha, which provide the most powerful bonuses and require a lot of investment to get going.), and summons which provide both once a turn summon "calls" and occasionally passive auras, some of these are gamebreakingly powerful and important and I wouldn't recommend starting a new account unless you roll a specific summon with your new player rolls.
Generally for a new player these days I would recommend just buying a starter account with a huge amount of rolls and resources already gathered from some SEA seller so that you don't have to go through the normal new player grind of waiting several years to collect the rolls and resources to begin to "catch up" to older players
