>>7757878There's a few reasons I do it. For reference, I use Hydrus Network to tag/organize my collection, currently at about 1700 files. I enjoy collecting, and these collections have no end. It's fun to try different tag combos and see what shows up. It's a kind of exploration. Also I just like the pretty images, especially ones with special emotional appeal to me. I also enjoy the hoarding aspect, knowing I'm never losing any of these things. And it's fun to be able to start and contribute to threads on /wg/. I rarely actually use any of my collection for wallpapers.
