Vance & Stephen Miller call for 'vengence, retribution' for Kirk's murder, call for mass doxing

The White House has ramped up its vow for vengeance in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination, with deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller promising to bring the resources of the federal government to bear against what he described as “terrorist networks.”

Vice President JD Vance, meanwhile, argued that those identifying as liberals were largely to blame for political violence and endorsed efforts to shame and make job trouble for those publicly cheering Kirk’s death.

Their comments came Monday during an episode of Kirk’s namesake podcast, which Vance hosted from his ceremonial office at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

“It is a vast domestic terror movement,” said Miller, speaking of left-wing political organizations.

“With God as my witness, we are going to use every resource we have at the Department of Justice, Homeland Security and throughout this government to identify, disrupt, dismantle and destroy these networks and make America safe again for the American people,” he added. “It will happen, and we will do it in Charlie’s name.”

Japan to review 'Africa hometown' program after false claims about immigrants spread online

No.1438930 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20250917/p2a/00m/0na/016000c
Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is considering reviewing a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project, under which four municipalities are designated as "hometowns" for African countries, after misinformation on social media led to a backlash against these cities.
The "JICA Africa Hometown" program aims to promote international exchange, but false claims such as "a large influx of immigrants is coming" have circulated online. Even though the ministry has repeatedly denied these claims, the four cities including Chiba Prefecture's Kisarazu continue to receive complaints, and there has been an incident where "No immigrants" graffiti was found inside the municipal office of one of the cities.
At a Sept. 16 press conference, Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya stated, "We should reach a conclusion on the future of this project as soon as possible. As local governments are being troubled, we must respond sincerely." The ministry is considering options including abolishing the project altogether or changing its name, and will decide on future measures after consulting with the four municipalities.
A representative from one of the designated cities commented, "The term 'hometown' in the project name has caused misunderstanding, so a name change is necessary. We also want to discuss with the national government whether the project itself can continue."

Department of War Declares War On Beards

No.1438224 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Whether beards are compatible with a life of service has long been a question for militaries across the world. Now, it seems the answer is settled in the US: facial hair is not acceptable in a Trump-era army.

The Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, has ordered the US military to adopt new grooming standards which ban beards and other types of facial hair.

A memorandum of understanding released by the Pentagon states: "The grooming standard set by the US military is to be clean-shaven and neat in presentation for a proper military appearance."

The policy change follows a rapid, force-wide review of military standards as part of Mr Hegseth's plan to embed a "warrior ethos" within the US military.

The memorandum goes on to state that personnel can apply for a shaving waiver from a medical officer, but this will only apply for a limited period.

"Unit commanders will initiate separation of service members who require a shaving waiver after more than one year of medical treatment," it says.

Donald Trump Asks For $15 Donations to 'Get to Heaven'

No.1431839 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-heaven-donations-2123679

President Donald Trump has sent a campaign fundraising email with the subject line "I want to try and get to Heaven".

The email framed his political survival and legal battles as evidence of divine purpose and asked supporters to contribute $15 during a "24-HOUR TRUMP FUNDRAISING BLITZ."

Newsweek contacted the White House for more information via email outside of normal working hours.

President Donald Trump's blending of religious language and immediate fundraising appeals linked his personal fate and political aims in a single campaign message, a development that intersected with recent public remarks in which he said he was trying to "get to heaven," comments that drew national coverage.

Trump's campaign email used the subject line "I want to try and get to Heaven," presenting the former president's political victories and his survival of last year's attempted assassination as evidence of divine intervention and a purpose to "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN."

The email presented past campaign events—including Trump's 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton, his impeachment acquittals, and ongoing legal battles—as part of a spiritual narrative that justified the fundraising appeal.

Dead child found in rappers car

No.1439938 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
The decomposed body of a 15 year old girl was found dead in the trunk of an impounded car owned by rapper D4vd. The dead 15 year old girl had the same tattoo on her finger as D4vd does and was reported missing at age 13. The girls mother claimed that her daughter had spoken about having a boyfriend named David before disappearing. Screenshots now circulating online appear to show direct interactions between d4vd and Celeste on discord when she was just 11 years old.

Democrats promise to shutdown the government

Democrats promise to shutdown the government. They look forward to it. it would probably be an improvement

Democrats say shutdown necessary to send ‘message’ to Trump

Democratic senators say that unless Republicans scrap their plan to advance a “clean” seven-week continuing resolution, they don’t see any option other than defeating it as a way to send a “message” to President Trump.

Doing so would almost certainly trigger a government shutdown, something Democrats avoided earlier this year but is increasingly looking inevitable this fall.

Democratic senators, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the looming shutdown has been the chief topic of discussion in recent caucus meetings.

They said Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), who took enormous heat from his left flank after voting for a GOP funding bill earlier this year, has not laid out any plan B to avert a shutdown before the Sept. 30 deadline.

“Donald Trump gave us the middle finger, there is no alternative,” said one Democratic senator, who requested anonymity to discuss caucus strategy.

A second Democratic senator said a brief shutdown would give Democrats a “win,” even if it doesn’t result in any concrete policy concessions from Republicans. This Democrat said doing so would send a “message” to Trump that the White House can’t continue to steamroll Congress.

“Without some accommodation, some compromise, I think there probably will be a shutdown for a period of time."

The second senator said they would not vote for the stopgap measure funding the government through Nov. 21, which House Republicans plan to pass.

“I hate a shutdown anyway, we don’t have any choice. We can’t go along with what they’re doing,” the senator said. “We should use every lever we have, and this is one of the very few levers where we can actually push [Trump].”

Trump was FBI informant against Epstein: US House Speaker Mike Johnson
https://www.business-standard.com/world-news/trump-was-fbi-informant-against-epstein-us-house-speaker-mike-johnson-125090600075_1.html
While Johnson sought to clarify Trump's stance, the president himself has dismissed calls for greater transparency in the Epstein case, describing the demand for more disclosures as a 'Democrat hoax

House Speaker Mike Johnson on Friday (local time) defended US President Donald Trump after he called the bipartisan push to release all files related to Jeffrey Epstein's federal investigation a "Democrat hoax."

The remarks came as survivors of Epstein's sexual abuse continue urging Congress to support legislation compelling the Department of Justice to release the documents. Pressure has been mounting in Washington over calls for full disclosure of Epstein's network and the government's handling of the case.

Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, Johnson claimed that Trump has been an FBI informant for decades, dating back to when Epstein was associated with Trump's Mar-A-Lago club. White House is yet to repond on the claims.

"He's [Trump] is not saying that what Epstein did is a hoax, it's a terrible, unspeakable evil, he believes that himself. When he first heard the rumour, he kicked him out of Mar-A-Lago. He was an FBI informant trying to take this down. The president knows and has great sympathy for the women who have suffered these unspeakable harms. It's detestable to him; he and I have spoken about this, as recently as 24 hours ago," Johnson told reporters.

While Johnson sought to clarify Trump's stance, the president himself has dismissed calls for greater transparency in the Epstein case, describing the demand for more disclosures as a "Democrat hoax," CNN reported.
