Trump’s immigration policies get strong backing in new poll

A majority of voters gave President Trump’s immigration policies high marks, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll released on Monday.

Sixty percent of voters said they support Trump’s efforts to close the border, including 89 percent of Republicans, 55 percent of Independents and 34 percent of Democrats.

Seventy-five percent of respondents also said they support the administration’s efforts to deport criminals who are in the country illegally, including 93 percent of Republicans, 70 percent of Independents, and 59 percent of Democrats.

“Huge majorities of Americans support the removal of criminals here illegally but also care about human rights and due process being observed,” said the poll’s director Mark Penn.

The same poll found that voters were divided over Trump’s approach to immigration enforcement. Fifty-two percent said the administration was “doing the right thing” in enforcing its immigration policy, while 48 percent said it is “going too far in its enforcement actions.”

Fifty-nine percent of respondents said there needs to be more due process guaranteed hearings to prevent unfair deportations, while 41 percent said the government needs to act quickly to deport criminals from the U.S.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey was conducted from July 6-8, 2025 and surveyed 2,044 registered voters. It is a collaboration of the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and the Harris Poll.

The survey is an online sample drawn from the Harris Panel and weighted to reflect known demographics. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.2 percentage points.

Texas ICE Agents Arrest Hundreds of Child Sex Offenders

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced Monday that during the past six months it has arrested 214 migrants without legal status in the Houston area who have been charged with or convicted of sex crimes involving minors.

Why It Matters
The arrests, carried out by ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Houston field office, surpasses the total number of similar arrests made during the entire 2024 fiscal year, when officers arrested 211 people in the same category, ICE said.

The people arrested were all found to have either pending charges or prior convictions related to child sex offenses, according to a press release issued by ICE.

"While we still have a long way to go to truly get this crisis under control, the strides we have made in just six months to make our local communities safer are substantial, and our officers continue to work tirelessly every day to get the worst of the worst criminal aliens out of Southeast Texas to return our communities to places we can all enjoy," ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston acting Field Office Director Paul McBride said.

Among those were apprehended was Jesus Gutierrez Mireles, 67, a Mexican national who had been deported from the U.S. three times, who was arrested on March 28. He had been convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child and driving while intoxicated. He was deported to Mexico on April 4.

Jorge Zebra, 48, also a Mexican national, was arrested on March 21. He had been convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor and one count of indecency with a minor. He was removed to Mexico on March 24.

Retarded nepobaby kicks organizations that disagree with his faggotry out of his hugbox

https://apnews.com/article/vaccine-committee-cdc-cfbdcab84b2a919a6131d471959c3431

U.S. health officials have told more than a half-dozen of the nation’s top medical organizations that they will no longer help establish vaccination recommendations.

The government told the organizations on Thursday via email that their experts are being disinvited from the workgroups that have been the backbone of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

The organizations include the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

“I’m concerned and distressed,” said Dr. William Schaffner, a Vanderbilt University vaccine expert who for decades has been involved with ACIP and its workgroups.

He said the move will likely propel a confusing fragmentation of vaccine guidance, as patients may hear the government say one thing and hear their doctors say another.

One email said the organizations are “special interest groups and therefore are expected to have a ‘bias’ based on their constituency and/or population that they represent.”

A federal health official on Friday confirmed the action, which was first reported by Bloomberg.

The decision was the latest development in what has become a saga involving the ACIP. The committee, created in 1964, makes recommendations to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on how vaccines that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration should be used.

CDC directors have traditionally almost always approved those recommendations, which are widely heeded by doctors and greenlight insurance coverage for shots.

U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was a leading voice in the anti-vaccine movement before becoming the U.S. government’s top health official, and in June abruptly fired the entire ACIP after accusing them of being too closely aligned with manufacturers. He handpicked replacements that include several vaccine skeptics.

Suicided Epstein victim's family is shocked by Trump's comments

No.1423713 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
https://www.npr.org/2025/08/01/nx-s1-5488736/virginia-giuffre-family-trump-epstein
The family of Virginia Giuffre, who was among Jeffrey Epstein's most well-known sex trafficking accusers, said that it was shocking to hear President Donald Trump say the disgraced financier "stole" Giuffre from him and urged that Epstein's former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, remain in prison.

Giuffre, who had accused Britain's Prince Andrew and other influential men of sexually exploiting her as a teenager trafficked by Epstein, has been a central figure in conspiracy theories tied to the case. She died by suicide this year.

Her family's statement is the latest development involving Epstein, who took his own life in a New York jail in 2019 while facing federal sex trafficking charges, and the Republican president, who was his one-time friend. Trump denied prior knowledge of Epstein's crimes and said he cut off their relationship years ago, but he still faces questions about the case.

Trump, responding to a reporter's question on Tuesday, said that he got upset with Epstein over his poaching of workers and that Epstein had stolen Giuffre from his Palm Beach, Florida, club.

"It was shocking to hear President Trump invoke our sister and say that he was aware that Virginia had been 'stolen' from Mar-a-Lago," the family's statement said.

"We and the public are asking for answers; survivors deserve this," it continued.

Trump appoints registered sex offender to children's sports council

https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-inviting-sex-offender-white-house-2107403
President Donald Trump inviting former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor, a registered sex offender, to the White House on Thursday has garnered controversy.

Newsweek has contacted the White House for comment via an email sent outside regular business hours.

Taylor has appeared on stage with Trump at campaign rallies in the past. But his attendance at the White House on Thursday comes as Trump faces increasing pressure over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender who authorities say died by suicide in a federal jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The president is facing an outcry over his administration's refusal to release additional records related to Epstein, despite earlier promises of transparency. He has tried to deflect questions about the case, expressing annoyance that people are still talking about it even as some of his allies continue to promote conspiracy theories about it.

Trump told reporters this week that Epstein "stole" Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's most well-known accusers, from his Mar-a-Lago club, where she worked in the summer of 2000 when she was 16. That raised questions, including from Giuffre's family, about how much Trump knew about Epstein's crimes given he continued to associate with Epstein after 2000. Trump said on Thursday that he didn't know why Epstein was taking young employees from Mar-a-Lago, and that it caused him to cut ties and ban Epstein from the club.

South Park breaks ratings record with episode satirizing Trump

https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2025/07/30/south-park-season-premiere-ratings-trump/85448760007/
It's not fake news: "South Park" has scored a ratings win with its controversial Season 27 episode that skewered President Donald Trump.

Paramount Global reports that the Comedy Central show had its biggest season premiere since 1999, with viewership up 68% from the previous season's premiere. The episode, titled "Sermon on the Mount," was the top show across cable on July 23. The episode reached nearly 6 million cross-platform viewers across Paramount+ and Comedy Central in the three days after it aired, according to Paramount Global.

The series skyrocketed to the top of JustWatch’s U.S. TV streaming charts with a 638% increase in streaming popularity in the U.S., and a 258% surge globally, compared to last season’s debut, based on streaming clickouts and onsite activity.

The satirical episode showed Trump cuddling in bed with Satan, referencing the president's association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The viral episode earned the attention and the ire of the White House. Spokesperson Taylor Rogers said in a statement to USA TODAY that "South Park" "hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention."

'South Park' will again parody President Trump in the next episode

The satire isn't over. The Comedy Central show released a trailer for its next episode (airing Aug. 6), which suggests the series will continue mocking Trump.

The 20-second teaser includes a shot of Trump attending a dinner, where he is sitting at a table with Satan. As a speaker is heard talking about honoring Trump's courage, the president rubs Satan's leg under the table. Satan tells him to stop.

Sig Sues To Force Cops To Use Their Defective Product

No.1422698 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Gunmaker Sig Sauer is taking Washington’s police academy to court after officials banned its SIG P320 pistol over safety concerns.

Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (WSCJTC) banned the pistol after investigating growing claims that the firearm has a troubling history of firing without a trigger pull.

In one case, Houston police officer Rick Fernandez, who is now suing Sig Sauer for $10 million, said he was shot in the leg by his holstered gun, a P320 handgun.

“The bullet from the subject handgun shot through Officer Fernandez’s right calf and lodged into his ankle,” the lawsuit stated. “But the subject handgun, at all times, remained holstered. He never pulled the trigger or otherwise handled the gun.”

Sig Sauer, an American company headquartered in New Hampshire, according to the lawsuit, is suing Washington’s academy to reverse its ban, claiming it’s unnecessary and not well grounded in fact or law. It also wants to block the executive director of the training commission from making public statements about the pistol outside the scope of her duties.

“Law enforcement departments throughout Washington State trust, rely on, and prefer the P320 as their service pistol of choice,” the lawsuit stated. “By banning the P320 for new law enforcement recruits, the WSCJTC is putting these men and women at a disadvantage when they enter the field and will be assigned the P320. The action also imposes negative financial impacts on all those law enforcement agencies that utilize the P320 and Sig Sauer. It further inappropriately and unjustifiably inflicts reputational and economic harms on Sig Sauer.”

Hacker attack on Aeroflot: how much can it cost the company

No.1422874 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Due to an IT failure, Aeroflot could lose at least 250 million rubles in just one day, on July 28, due to the need to cancel flights to Sheremetyevo. Taking into account the costs of infrastructure restoration, the damage may be greater

What happened
On the morning of July 28, Aeroflot reported a malfunction in its IT systems, which led to the cancellation of several dozen turnaround flights from Sheremetyevo base airport in Moscow to Russian cities, Astana, Minsk, and Yerevan. The postponements and cancellations affected both flights of the group's parent airline and subsidiary Rossiya Airlines.

Hacker groups Silent Crow and "Cyber Guerrillas BY" claimed involvement in the failures. The hackers claim that they had been on Aeroflot's corporate network for a year, downloaded a full array of flight history databases, and gained control of employees' computers. According to their version, 22 TB of information was siphoned off and 7 thousand servers were destroyed. Aeroflot did not comment on this information.

The Prosecutor General's Office confirmed the hacker attack and announced the opening of a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code (unlawful access to computer information). As of 20:00, the national carrier cancelled 54 round-trip flights out of 260 scheduled for July 28. Trump reveals he fell out with Epstein because his rapebait got poached

No.1423225 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
His brains turned to mush, and now he's slowly implicating himself and forcing the GOP to embrace pedophilia as a tentpole policy.

https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/29/politics/epstein-trump-falling-out-analysis

In 2000, Trump gets angry at Epstein for stealing away an underaged masseuse who has no business working at Epsteins cover business.

2000-2002, Guffrie is sex trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell to various clients

Late 2002, Trump says about Epstein: “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump booms from a speakerphone. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”, clearly knowing about the pedophilia

In 2008, Epstein continues to try to steal away Trumps underaged sex workers and gets thrown out of Mar a Largo

Also in 2008, Epstein is charged the first time and gets a sweet parole deal with no real consequences from Trump hire Alex Acosta.

Virginia Guffrie sued Maxwell for defamation in 2015, and the case was settled in Giuffre's favor for an undisclosed sum in 2017.

On July 2, 2019, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ordered the unsealing of documents from the earlier civil suit by Giuffre against Maxwell.

The first batch of documents from Giuffre's suit were released to the public on August 9, 2019, further implicating Epstein, Maxwell, and a number of their associates.

The following day, Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan prison cell

Virginia Guffrie died of 'suicide' a few months into Trumps second term as they were prepping the Epstein files for release.

Shills will continue coping for weeks to come.
