>Among the groups enjoying wide influence in post-Assad Syria are the Turkistan Islamic Party in Syria, who are mostly Uyghur Muslims; Junud al-Sham, mostly ethnic Chechen gunmen; and Ajnad al-Qawqaz, mostly Muslim fighters from the former Soviet Union.

>Al-Sharaa has said many foreign fighters are now married to Syrian women and could end up getting citizenship, and has given no indication whether any of the fighters will be asked to leave the country.

Baghdad Iraqi Arab Sunnis have been raped and sacked by Turks, Mongols, Armenians, Georgians, Han Chinese, Timur I Lang (Tamerlane) (Timurlane), Safavid Qizilbash Turkmen Twelver Shia Alevis.

>Siege of Baghdad (812)
>Siege of Baghdad (1136)
>Siege of Baghdad (1157)
>Siege of Baghdad (1258) by Mongols
>Siege of Baghdad (1401) by Tamerlane
>Siege of Baghdad (1534) by Safavids
>Siege of Baghdad (1624)
>Siege of Baghdad (1638)
>Siege of Baghdad (1917)
>Siege of Baghdad (2003)

Same with Syrian Sunnis who got raped

>Siege of Aleppo (994–995) by Manjutakin
>Siege of Aleppo (1240) by Khwarezmians
>Siege of Aleppo (1260) by Mongols
>Siege of Aleppo (1271) by Mongols

>Siege of Aleppo (1299) by Mongols
>Siege of Aleppo (1400) by Tamerlane

>Siege of Damascus (970) by Kutama Berbers

>Siege of Damascus (1300) by Mongols
>Siege of Damascus (1401) by Tamerlane

>Siege of Hama (1400) by Tamerlane
>Siege of Hama (1982) by Alawites

These cities are defenceless in a completely flat plain, begging to be sacked and raped

Why do Sunnis keep rebuilding and living in these rape zones when they know they are just waiting for the next invaders? Do they have a cuck fetish?

Meanwhile minorities like Druze, Maronites, Alawites, Assyrians and Yazidis stay in the mountains

Why do Sunnis of Syria and Iraq keep getting conquered and raped?

Texas is suffering massive national disasters again, so where is Ted Cruz?

No.1418625 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Its not weird that Ted Cruz is on vacation every time Texans are dying off due to their inept Republican-led government, but it is weird that it keeps happening every single time.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/ted-cruz-was-vacationing-in-europe-as-emergency-crews-desperately-searched-for-texas-flood-survivors/ar-AA1I8qcE

The Swamp can exclusively reveal that Ted Cruz stayed in Greece and continued to sightsee as rescuers scoured the floodwaters in Central Texas that killed at least 100 people, including 27 campers and counselors from a summer camp.

The Texas senator was spotted visiting the Parthenon in the Greek capital, Athens, with his wife, Heidi, on Saturday evening. That was a day after Camp Mystic announced that more than 20 girls had gone missing in the floodwaters.

On Saturday, July 5, at about 6 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET)—more than 24 hours after the Guadalupe River burst its banks—Cruz and his wife were spotted by a Swamp spy lining up outside the iconic tourist site.

“He was with his family and a lone security guard,” said Michael Rocchio, an eyewitness at the Parthenon. “As he walked past us, I simply said, ‘20 kids dead in Texas and you take a vacation?’

“He sort of grunted and walked on. His wife shot me a dirty look. Then they continued on with their tour guide.”

While Cruz admired the Doric columns of the fifth century B.C. ancient Greek temple, emergency workers were still searching for summer campers and families caught in the flash floods that cascaded through Texas Hill Country and inundated the Guadalupe River.

It is not the first time that Cruz has faced criticism for holidaying while his constituents have faced a natural disaster.

In 2021, Cruz took his family on a trip to Cancun, Mexico, after Texas was hit by a winter storm that left millions in his state freezing without power or water. At the time, the senator defended his sunshine flight by saying he wanted to be “a good dad” but returned because “it didn’t feel right.”

Camp Mystic, the girls summer camp on the banks of the Guadalupe River in Texas, has confirmed that 27 children and counsellors died in the flash floods that have wreaked devastation on the area since Friday.

“Our hearts are broken alongside our families that are enduring this unimaginable tragedy. We are praying for them constantly,” a statement on the camp website read.

The search continued for missing people, it said, adding: “We ask for your continued prayers, respect and privacy for each of our families affected.”

Argentina 20 year growth record

No.1418694 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Argentina achieved the highest YoY growth in over 20 years due to removing all of their regressive socialist programs.
Supply of rental housing jumped nearly 200% and prices dropped 10% as limits on lease terms and rent increases were removed.

Argentina's Javier Milei Keeps Proving His Critics Wrong

Argentina seemed destined for another economic collapse: soaring poverty, runaway inflation and dire warnings from economists that President Javier Milei's radical austerity measures would choke growth. Instead, the economy is expanding at a pace few thought possible — leaving Milei's legions of critics scrambling for explanations.

In a stunning reversal, Argentina's economy posted a 7.6 percent year-over-year growth rate in the second quarter of 2025 — its strongest in nearly two decades — fueled by deregulation, sharp cuts to public spending and the loosening of currency controls. Retail sales, manufacturing and finance all surged, helping consumer spending jump nearly 3 percent from the previous quarter.

Since assuming office in December 2023, the firebrand libertarian economist has slashed government expenditures and secured a $20 billion deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). His administration promised to dismantle decades of state intervention in favor of free markets — policies that many observers warned would deepen recession and spark social unrest.

Part of the turnaround has been Milei's dismantling of el cepo, the restrictive system of exchange controls first imposed in 2011 that prevented companies from moving profits abroad and limited Argentines' access to dollars.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Monday praised a company that makes $7-a-pop meals that are delivered directly to the homes of Medicaid and Medicare enrollees.

He even thanked Mom’s Meals for sending taxpayer-funded meals “without additives” to the homes of sick or elderly Americans. The spreads include chicken bacon ranch pasta for dinner and French toast sticks with fruit or ham patties.

“This is really one of the solutions for making our country healthy again,” Kennedy said in the video, posted to his official health secretary account, after he toured the company’s Oklahoma facility last week.

But an Associated Press review of Mom’s Meals menu, including the ingredients and nutrition labels, shows that the company’s offerings are the type of heat-and-eat, ultraprocessed foods that Kennedy routinely criticizes for making people sick.

The meals contain chemical additives that would render them impossible to recreate at home in your kitchen, said Marion Nestle, a nutritionist at New York University and food policy expert, who reviewed the menu for The AP. Many menu items are high in sodium, and some are high in sugar or saturated fats, she said.

“It is perfectly possible to make meals like this with real foods and no ultra-processing additives but every one of the meals I looked at is loaded with such additives,” Nestle said. “What’s so sad is that they don’t have to be this way. Other companies are able to produce much better products, but of course they cost more.”

Mom’s Meals do not have the artificial, petroleum dyes that Kennedy has pressured companies to remove from products, she noted.

> MEXICO CITY — A protest by hundreds against gentrification and mass tourism that began peacefully Friday in Mexico City neighborhoods popular with tourists turned violent when a small number of people began smashing storefronts and harassing foreigners.

> Masked protesters smashed through the windows and looted high-end businesses in the touristic areas of Condesa and Roma, and screamed at tourists in the area. Graffiti on glass shattered glass being smashed through with rocks read: “get out of Mexico.” Protesters held signs reading “gringos, stop stealing our home” and demanding local legislation to better regulate tourism levels and stricter housing laws.

> Marchers then continued on to protest outside the U.S. Embassy and chanted inside the city’s metro system. Police reinforcements gathered outside the Embassy building as police sirens rung out in the city center Friday evening.

>It marked a violent end to a more peaceful march throughout the day calling out against masses of mostly American tourists who have flooded into Mexico’s capital in recent years.

Israel killed over 100 Iranian dissidents. Both Iran and Iranian opposition denounce the massacre

Ceilings, walls and wooden cabinets collapsed into heaps of jagged debris in the prison’s visitor center. Scorched papers and brightly colored case files lay scattered amid broken bricks and tangled wires in the administration building. Shattered glass covered patient beds and equipment in the infirmary.

Evin prison in Tehran stands out in Iran as a singular symbol of oppression, its notorious reputation reaching far beyond the country’s borders. For five decades, Iran’s rulers, from the shah to the clerics, have used Evin as the place to punish dissent with detention, interrogation, torture and execution.
When Israel struck the prison with missiles on June 23, the attack generated widespread condemnation and fury in Iran, even among opponents of the authoritarian government.

The strikes were the deadliest of the 12-day Israel-Iran war. Iran has said 79 people were killed and dozens injured in the Evin attack, but casualty numbers are expected to rise.

Among the dead and wounded were visiting family members of prisoners, social workers, a lawyer, physicians and nurses, a 5-year-old child, teenage soldiers guarding the doors as part of mandatory military service, administrative staff and residents of the area, according to Iranian media reports, activists and rights groups.

About 100 transgender inmates are missing after their section of the prison was flattened, and the authorities say they are presumed dead, said Reza Shafakhah, a prominent human rights lawyer, who added that the government often treats being transgender as a crime. The chief prosecutor of the prison, Ali Ghanaatkar, despised by government critics for his handling of political prisoners, and one of his deputies also were killed.

British man jailed for 21 years in Thailand for trafficking a 16-year-old girl into prostitution on Pattaya’s notorious Soi 6. William Bilton ran the Flirt Bar, advertised the victim online, sparking a major crackdown on sex trafficking amid efforts to clean up “Sin City.”

A Bangkok court has jailed a British man for more than 21 years for trafficking a girl under 16 in Pattaya. William Reece Bilton, 33, from northern England, ran the Flirt Bar on the city’s infamous Soi 6 strip—a hotspot for sex tourism. He was found guilty of human trafficking and child exploitation by the Criminal Court this week. Bilton had been out on bail since police raided the venue in April 2023. But now, he’s behind bars. The court heard he lured the girl into prostitution and advertised her online. Pattaya, dubbed “Sin City,” has long faced international scrutiny over its seedy underworld. This case is one of the most serious yet.

Tucker Carlson says to air interview with president of Iran

WASHINGTON, July 5 (Reuters) - U.S. conservative talk show host Tucker Carlson said in an online post on Saturday that he had conducted an interview with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, which would air in the next day or two.

Carlson said the interview was conducted remotely through a translator, and would be published as soon as it was edited, which "should be in a day or two."

Carlson said he had stuck to simple questions in the interview, such as, "What is your goal? Do you seek war with the United States? Do you seek war with Israel?"

"There are all kinds of questions that I didn't ask the president of Iran, particularly questions to which I knew I could get an not get an honest answer, such as, 'was your nuclear program totally disabled by the bombing campaign by the U.S. government a week and a half ago?'" he said.

Carlson also said he had made a third request in the past several months to interview Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who will be visiting Washington next week for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Trump said on Friday he would discuss Iran with Netanyahu at the White House on Monday.

Trump said Tehran's nuclear program had been set back permanently by recent U.S. strikes that followed Israel's attacks on the country last month, although Iran could restart it at a different location.
Trump said Iran had not agreed to inspections of its nuclear program or to give up enriching uranium. He said he would not allow Tehran to resume its nuclear program.

Pezeshkian said last month Iran does not intend to develop nuclear weapons but will pursue its right to nuclear energy and research.
